Our Story:

​Years ago, I bought a relative a USED $100 FR jacket that was stolen off the job site within a week. That frustration—and the fact that plant workers couldn't find quality gear at fair prices—sparked an idea.

​I started seeking out quality FR at closeout prices. During the week, I worked at a chemical plant. On the weekends, I’d load up my Suburban with my young children and park on side the road in Donaldsonville, LA, selling gear to workers as they left the plants.

​The Leap of Faith

​We eventually upgraded to a used step van, but when it broke down, I faced a choice. I loved my job at the plant, but I felt like I was working just to pay for daycare and missing quality time with my children. I decided to take a leap of faith. I told myself if i failed, I can always get another job, but I might not get another opportunity to open a store front. I put in my notice and opened our first store to bring affordable safety gear to our community full-time.
